Emma reached out to me 6 weeks before her wedding day. Having officially the shortest engagement of any of our couples, it was a miracle that we had their October wedding date available. After chatting with her about her and Daniel’s relationship and their love for Jesus, I knew it would be worth it to fit them into our crazy, packed schedule, and I was right. This day was incredibly special and one of the greatest honors I’ve had as a wedding photographer.
Here are my top twelve favorite parts of Emma and Daniel’s day:
- The venue. Can someone say dream wedding venue? I truly might go back here for the day Josh and I want to have a vow renewal ceremony because wow. I really loved it that much. Not only was it so beautiful but the yurts were so cool.
- There were some of the cutest babies ever at this wedding. I was dying from baby fever all day.
- The bridesmaids’ dresses. Once again I’m obsessed with the mix and matching dresses!
- The bridesmaids. I straight up miss these girls after the wedding and want to be BFFs with all of them
- The bride’s blusher veil. I think this is the only time I’ve ever had a bride wear a blusher veil down the aisle and it was so fitting for this set a part couple.
- The bride’s dad spoke at the ceremony and prayed over the couple and it touched my heart so deeply as he blessed their marriage.
- The pastor gave one of the best ceremony sermons we’ve ever heard and it makes me really sad we didn’t do video for this wedding because I know I would love to back and listen to it again!
- The guests tossed the aspen leaves for recessional and it looked so autumnally magical
- The white canopy reception space. It’s not everyone’s taste but it’s one of the reasons I would literally get married here! So cozy and classic.
- The unique floral cake with pressed leaves. It was as beautiful as it was delicious.
- Because weren’t staying till the end of the night, they chose to do a sparkler entrance into the reception and it was perfect!
- This crowd showed off some amazing dance moves and it was a perfect end to the night
