I kinda think that Sunrise is the only way to shoot in front of the Superstitions. Well, sunrise or an overcast day but Stacee and Mark just happened to get both and it was beautiful. Since the mountains are in the East, the sun rises primarily behind them which makes for an incredible glow and soft lighting as the sun comes up. Now, shooting at sunset means that the mountain gets this gorgeous orange glow as the sun reflects off of it but the same goes for your skin soooo while I would be happy to shoot at the Superstitions anytime, any day, I think these photos from Stacee and Mark’s engagement session display exactly why sunrise is perfection here.
