When asked what she was most looking forward to, Bri shared, “Being so happy and crying all day long! Thinking about getting to marry Bobby makes me tear up already, so I can only imagine the day-of and the emotions it will bring.” Bri was right, there were happy tears all day long. One of the highlights of their day was telling Bri how beautiful she was in the bridal suite, she hugged me and said, “I didn’t expect my wedding photographer to make me cry!” It’s these genuine emotions that make weddings like Bri and Bobby’s so special.

Personally, I will never forget the moment of this wedding ceremony when the officiant asked for the rings. The best man looked at the ring bearer, the ring bearer looked at his mom, and the groom looked back to his best man and instantly knew. Bobby turned to the officiant and said they did not have the rings on them. I RAN out of that chapel to the getting-ready suite, grabbed the rings, and ran back inside. The groom’s dad was walking up to the alter to hand off his wedding band which was honestly a beautiful moment but they saw me in the back with the rings and waved me up. I awkwardly walked up the steps and, I guess you could say, I saved the day. The best man incorporated this moment into his speech at the reception and got big laughs, it was truly iconic.

From Church to Paradise: The Perfect Reception Setting

After the heartfelt ceremony, the celebration continued at Bri’s family home in Paradise Valley, where the massive patio and garage were transformed into a romantic paradise. It was a seamless transition from solemn vows to joyous festivities.

Worshipping God at the Wedding Reception

As the reception came to an end, Bri and Bobby planned for a private last dance to the song Gratitude which is a song that worships the name of Jesus. The DJ misunderstood and played the song for the whole party to dance to. They thought about pausing and having the DJ ask everyone to step out to get sparklers but decided to let everyone else take part in this moment. Bri and Bobby’s eyes were locked on each other as they danced and raised their hands in worship. Meanwhile, all of their guests, some who didn’t even have a relationship with the Lord were dancing to this beautiful song. It reminded us of what God’s Word says many times but specifically in Psalm 66:4, “All the earth worships you and sings praises to you; they sing praises to your name.” Selah.”
